We have extinguished a lorry fire on the M6 northbound this morning (Friday 9 February).
Crews from Cannock went to the M6, between junctions 11 and 12, just before 6.30am and found a lorry well-alight.
A hose reel jet was used to extinguish the fire just after 7.30am. The driver of the lorry was not injured.
The cause of the fire was deemed to be accidental.
