Fire crews extinguish business roof fire

Service vehicles lined up outside appliance bay

Firefighters have extinguished a roof fire of a business in East Staffordshire.

Crews from Burton went to a business on Dovecliff Road, Rolleston-on-Dove, just before 4am this morning (Friday 12 January) and found a roof well-alight.

Hose reel jets and a main jet were used to extinguish the fire by 1.15pm this afternoon.

The cause of the fire was deemed to be accidental as a result of an electrical fault.

No one was injured.
