Fire crews put out van fire

We have extinguished a van fire in Stoke-on-Trent.

Crews went to the A500, in the Cliffe Vale area, just after 6.30pm yesterday (Wednesday 6 March) and found a Ford Transit well-alight.

A hose reel jet was used to extinguish the fire by 7.30pm.

The cause of the fire was deemed to be accidental.

No one was injured.
